Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Tailored, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms from time to time — continued use after notice of changes constitutes acceptance.

Who can use Tailored

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the jurisdiction where you are seeking employment. Employer accounts must be created on behalf of a legitimate business entity. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

Candidate accounts

Candidates may create one account per person. The information you submit — work history, skills, values, and preferences — must be accurate and kept up to date. Misrepresenting your background or credentials is grounds for immediate account termination and may be reported to matched employers.

Employer accounts

Employers may post roles and receive curated candidate matches. Role descriptions must be accurate and lawful. You may not use candidate data obtained through Tailored for any purpose other than evaluating candidates for the specific role they were matched to. Reselling or redistributing candidate data is prohibited.

Fees and payments

Candidates use Tailored at no cost. Employers pay a flat placement fee when a hire is confirmed. Fees are due within 30 days of invoice. Disputed charges must be raised within 14 days of the invoice date. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our pricing terms or required by law.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use Tailored to: post false or misleading job listings; scrape or harvest data; circumvent the platform to contact matches found through Tailored outside of it for 12 months after introduction; harass or discriminate against other users; or violate any applicable law. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Intellectual property

Tailored owns all rights in the platform, including the matching algorithm, design, and branding. You retain ownership of the content you submit (your profile, job descriptions). By submitting content, you grant Tailored a limited license to use it to operate and improve the platform.

Limitation of liability

Tailored is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that any candidate will be hired or that any role will be filled. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tailored's liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid by the claimant in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in King County, Washington.
